The former \u2018Friends\u2019 star celebrated her milestone birthday earlier this month but she isn\u2019t upset about getting older and doesn\u2019t think time has changed her \u201cone bit\u201d.<\/p>\n
She told Britain\u2019s HELLO! magazine: \u201cI\u2019m fine with it. I love my life and I love that I\u2019m still working after all this time. I\u2019m feeling very grateful\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cIf anything, I\u2019m probably more compassionate [now]. I speak my mind, but people who know me can handle it. With me, you certainly get what you get.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u2018Scream\u2019 actress \u2013 who has 20-year-old daughter Coco with ex-husband David Arquette and is in a relationship with Snow Patrol\u2019s Johnny McDaid \u2013 believes her creative nature has helped her stay young at heart.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cOvercoming challenges, being creative and thinking outside the box is what makes life exciting. It keeps you young.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLooking back on her life, Courteney regrets being a \u201ccomparative person\u201d while working on \u2018Friends\u2019 with Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt Le Blanc and the late Matthew Perry.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThe one thing I wish I hadn\u2019t been is a comparative person. There\u2019s a lot of stuff that can mess with your ego, being on a show in an ensemble like that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s hard. It was a lot of learning for me. I wish I hadn\u2019t ever spent time comparing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAs well as acting, Courtney has also directed, and she recalled her daughter having an uncredited role in \u2018Just Before I Go\u2019 when she was just 10 years old.<\/p>\n
\nShe laughed: \u201cShe was always a little hot-headed. Coco is someone who doesn\u2019t always take direction too well. She thinks she knows what to do and is usually right.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
