The lyrical battle between\u00a0<\/span>Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Nicki Minaj<\/a>\u00a0continues. On Friday, the 29-year-old dropped her third studio album,\u00a0<\/span>Megan<\/span><\/em>, and one of the songs already has fans proclaiming that Megan is firing back at the 41-year-old after <\/span>their confrontation earlier this year<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Fans suspect that “<\/span>Rattle<\/a>,” the second track on\u00a0<\/span>Megan<\/span><\/em>, is taking aim at Minaj who previously claimed she had information on “things” the GRAMMY winner “lied about.”<\/span><\/p>\n Megan begins the track by rapping, “Ain’t got no tea on me, this ho think she TMZ \/ I mean, the sooner you accept that I’m that b**ch \/ The better your life will be.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Damn b**ch it been four years \/ Worry ’bout your man and your kid \/ Your life must be boring as f**k if you’re still reminiscin’ ’bout s**t we did,” Megan continues later in the song, seemingly referencing the former friendship she and Minaj had. The two collaborated on\u00a0the song “Hot Girl Summer” in 2019.\u00a0“And I ain’t worried ’bout the bitter b**ch link up \/ Y’all hoes earned them seats in the fan club.”<\/span><\/p>\n The song also features a brief interlude during which Megan repeats, “Ain’t got no tea on me, this ho think she TMZ.”<\/span><\/p>\n Listen to “Rattle” below.<\/span><\/p>\n While the song doesn’t directly mention Minaj, it’s a fair assumption that Megan is talking about the other rapper after <\/span>Minaj\u00a0released the diss track, “Big Foot,”<\/a> in January, which came after Megan in no uncertain terms.<\/span><\/p>\n Minaj posted the song and\u00a0<\/span>shared the lyrics on X (formerly Twitter)<\/a>, as she called Megan out for supposedly lying about her, and about\u00a0<\/span>getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez<\/a>\u00a0back in July 2020. Tory was <\/span>tried and convicted in December 2022<\/a>, and was <\/span>sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Minaj also addresses\u00a0<\/span>Megan’s sit-down interview with Gayle King<\/a>, in which Megan talked about the shooting, and repeatedly mocks Megan’s “dead momma.”\u00a0<\/span>Megan’s mother, Holly Thomas, died in 2019<\/a>, as a result of a brain tumor.<\/span><\/p>\n Minaj’s track was in response to\u00a0<\/span>a song Megan released the week before, “Hiss,”<\/a>\u00a0in which Minaj believed Megan was referencing her husband,\u00a0<\/span>Kenneth Petty<\/a>, when Megan rapped, “These hoes don\u2019t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”<\/span><\/p>\n The line refers to the government-mandated database of registered sex offenders, and Minaj interpreted it as a shot at Petty —\u00a0<\/span>who is a registered sex offender,<\/a>\u00a0convicted prior to his marriage with Minaj. “Hiss” does not mention Minaj or her husband by name.<\/span><\/p>\n However, in “Big Foot” — which was <\/span>critically panned<\/a> — Minaj drops Megan’s name repeatedly and directly refers to that lyric, rapping, “This little begging w***e\/Talking \u2018bout Megan\u2019s law\/\u00a0For a free beat, you could hit Megan raw.”<\/span><\/p>\n In a spoken word section, which served as a warning and\/or threat for Megan, Minaj claims, “I don’t think you want the next installment of this song. I know it’s the most attention you’ve ever gotten.”<\/span><\/p>\n Minaj\u00a0claimed\u00a0she has “4 more” songs ready to fire off in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n Unsurprisingly, Megan’s release of her third album during <\/span>her Hot Girl Summer Tour<\/a>\u00a0has brought a lot of attention to “Rattle” and her feud with Minaj.<\/span><\/p>\n Megan<\/span><\/em>\u00a0is the rapper’s first album release since\u00a0<\/span>testifying against<\/a>\u00a0Lanez during\u00a0<\/span>his felony assault trial<\/a>\u00a0in December 2022. Last September, <\/span>Megan\u00a0opened up to ET about what\u00a0inspired her new album<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n “I feel like I’m in such a fresh space, like everything about me is new,”\u00a0Megan said. “My attitude, my vibe. I feel like I’m starting a new chapter in my life. I think I’ve just gone through so much and I’m at a point where I don’t care about a lot of stuff. I’m just so comfortable with myself. I’m like, ‘OK, at this point, girl, what’s the worst thing that can happen?’ I’m just into taking risks right now.”<\/span><\/p>\n “I always like to think of myself as a confident person, I always [act] that I didn’t care about much, I was nonchalant, but it took me to go through things where so many people were talking about me constantly, to where I had to realize, ‘OK, maybe you’re not as nonchalant and carefree as you thought you were,'” she confessed. “So, I had to take a step back [and] reevaluate myself. I had to get in a comfortable position with myself, and now I genuinely can say that I’m in love with Megan.
