Fans are anxiously awaiting Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a>, and actor Karan Soni<\/strong> knows it will be worth the wait.<\/p>\n

Soni, 35, who portrays cab driver Dopinder in all three Deadpool<\/em> films, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> and Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s script is \u201creally good\u201d and is coming at the \u201cright time\u201d for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan has worked really, really hard on it,\u201d Son told Us<\/em>, joking that he could reveal \u201cabsolutely nothing\u201d about the movie while at the MPTF NextGen Annual Summer Party 2024 on June 23. \u201cIt\u2019s a long time coming, but it was one of those things \u2014 where because it was such a long time \u2014 it\u2019s gotten really good. The script was really good. It was in a very good place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soni noted that Jackman, 55, signing on to revamp his character Wolverine was a huge boost to the storyline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a version of [the script] before Hugh Jackman said yes,\u201d Soni recalled. \u201cBecause they waited because he said yes \u2014 I think it\u2019s all the things combining and I think it\u2019s coming at the right time for the MCU, which is in need of something fresh. And I would not bet against Ryan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynolds, 47, has been excited about the upcoming Deadpool<\/em> installation, and he revealed a special gift of a ping-pong table<\/a> from his wife, Blake Lively<\/strong>, helped him and Jackman create the script.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoy, did we play some ping-pong,\u201d Reynolds told Vanity Fair<\/em> during an interview published on Monday, June 24, to which Jackman agreed, \u201cIt gets you out of your head, it wakes you up.\u201d<\/p>\n
