The end of summer has come early for Danielle Olivera<\/strong><\/a>, who announced that she\u2019s leaving Summer House<\/em><\/a> as a full-time cast member ahead of season 9.<\/p>\n The Donne founder, 35, took to Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, June 25, to share the news with her followers. She posted a photo of the cast and wrote in a separate slide that it was a \u201cheartbreaking decision\u201d to not return full-time next season.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, this decision didn\u2019t come without a tremendous amount of thought,\u201d Danielle continued. \u201cUltimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can\u2019t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn\u2019t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bravolebrity said that she needs to \u201cprotect and prioritize the things that matter most to me \u2014 my company, my people and of course, myself.\u201d Danielle added that she was \u201cgrateful\u201d to the reality show\u2019s networks for their understanding and support.<\/p>\n \u201cI was fortunate enough to be able to take a step back season 4 as well, and it ended up working out better than I imagined,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n Danielle hinted that there is still a possibility of her part-time involvement in Summer House<\/em> season 9.<\/p>\n \u201cHowever I\u2019m involved this summer, you can bet I\u2019ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House<\/em> fam. My goodness, season 9 you guys!!!\u201d she concluded. \u201cBest of luck and sending so much love.\u201d<\/p>\n Danielle joined Summer House<\/em> as a full-time cast member in season 2, which first premiered in January 2018. Her exit comes after a somewhat difficult two seasons. In season 7, the New Jersey native had a falling out with best friend Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong>, as Danielle didn\u2019t approve of the New York native\u2019s relationship with then-fianc\u00e9 Carl Radke<\/strong><\/a>. Though she and Lindsay, 37, smoothed things over at the reunion and slowly became friends again in season 8, there was still a noticeable difference in their dynamic.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re on good terms. We\u2019re texting, it\u2019s a little bit lighter. You know \u2013 the sisterhood is not there. We just have a different relationship now and I think that\u2019s the one that both of us are most comfortable with,\u201d Danielle recently told Life & Style<\/em> in an exclusive interview of her friendship with Lindsay today<\/a>.<\/p>\n The fashion app founder also had her feelings hurt over some comments made by costar Paige DeSorbo<\/strong><\/a> in season 8. After Paige, 31, joked about Danielle\u2019s position as a CEO, the reality TV personality told Life & Style<\/em>, \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s fair to discredit someone even if you think it\u2019s funny. She is funny. I\u2019m not going to knock her for anything like that. She\u2019s a very funny person and very successful in her own right, but we can all be successful and support each other. I just didn\u2019t feel that from her.\u201d<\/p>\n Danielle also shared with Life & Style<\/em> her thoughts on which Summer House<\/em> cast members may or may not return in season 9<\/a> \u2014 although she skillfully avoided mentioning her own departure.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know what, in the beginning of the summer, like when we first started airing, I was like, \u2018We had a great summer. I\u2019ve got along with everyone!\u2019 And I was surprised that I didn\u2019t get along with everyone,\u201d she said. \u201cSo I know I never know and my predictions are never correct. What I will say, though is that I think that our production crew, or everyone, they do try to be right by how the viewer would see things in the premise of the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Danielle continued, \u201cIt goes back to friendship. Do these people want to be friends with each other? Can they exist in the same room together? Because if we can\u2019t, then we\u2019re not \u2014 it\u2019s not the show that it once was.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
