Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> has no qualms talking about his relationship with Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>, but he also knows how to expertly dodge a question he doesn\u2019t want to answer.<\/p>\n The NFL star, 34, appeared on the Monday, June 24, episode of the \u201cBussin\u2019 With the Boys\u201d podcast, where he and the hosts discussed their favorite Taylor, 34, songs. Will Compton<\/strong> revealed that \u201cKarma\u201d was one of his favorites and said it was because his daughter, Cerulean \u201cRue\u201d Belle, is a fan of the track.<\/p>\n \u201cDoes she know who karma is?\u201d Travis asked, with a smirk on his face. He was referencing Taylor\u2019s famous lyric change on the track, which she debuted in November 2023 at a concert in Buenos Aires, singing, \u201cKarma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.\u201d She has since sang the same lyric whenever Travis is in attendance at the Eras tour.<\/p>\n Will, 34, seemed a bit confused by the question and thought Travis was asking who actually inspired the song. \u201cI don\u2019t know if Rue knows who \u2018Karma\u2019 is about,\u201d he admitted. \u201c\u2018Karma\u2019 is [Jake] Gyllenhaal<\/strong>, right?\u201d<\/p>\n Instead of directly responding to the host\u2019s question, Travis dodged a bullet by simply saying, \u201cWhat happened?\u201d Will eventually figured out the context of the conversation. \u201cI know it\u2019s changed,\u201d he confirmed. \u201cI know it\u2019s about the boy now, right? I remember that one moment, that clip dropped, and she said that and everybody\u2019s going nuts. The camera pans over to Trav and he\u2019s kind of grinning in the backstage part.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKarma\u201d is from Taylor\u2019s 2022 album, Midnights<\/em>, and features her singing to those who have wronged her in the past as she points out all of the great things she has in her life that they never will. Before the lyric change, she originally sang, \u201cKarma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me,\u201d referring to her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn<\/strong>, who she was dating at the time of the song\u2019s release.<\/p>\n Although Travis didn\u2019t want to discuss the inspiration behind \u201cKarma,\u201d he didn\u2019t hold back when talking about how \u201cproud\u201d he was to be Taylor\u2019s boyfriend. \u201cIt\u2019s like, you want to keep things private, but at the same time, I\u2019m not here to hide<\/a> anything,\u201d he explained. \u201cLike, that\u2019s my girl. That\u2019s my lady.\u201d<\/p>\n He also gushed over how \u201cself-aware\u201d the pop star is and added, \u201cI think that\u2019s why I really started to fall for her<\/a>, was how genuine she is around friends [and] family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool.\u201d<\/p>\n The professional athlete recalled Taylor attending her first Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 and revealed that he loved seeing her walk in the regular stadium entrance to spend time with his family and friends in a private suite. \u201cShe really won me over with that one,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n The interview was released one day after Travis joined Taylor on stage<\/a> at the Eras tour in London. While attending his third concert in a row, the football star became part of the production as he assisted in a skit during The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> set.
