Prince William<\/a> shook it out at <\/span>Taylor Swift<\/a>‘s concert — and is shaking off all the attention his dance moves have gotten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It’s no secret by now that the Prince of Wales <\/span>accompanied his two older children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9<\/a>, to <\/span>Swift’s Eras Tour show in London on Friday<\/a>, which happened to be his 42nd birthday. In addition to snapping selfies with the world-famous pop star and her football pro boyfriend, Travis Kelce, the royal dad <\/span>was spotted inside Wembley Stadium as he grooved to her signature hit, “Shake It Off.”<\/a> Footage of the future king dancing to the beloved track quickly went viral on social media with fans pleasantly surprised by William’s enthusiasm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “This is the best thing I\u2019ve seen ok slay Prince William,” one TikTok comment read.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But how does the next in line to the throne feel about the attention his moves have generated?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A source who knows Prince William tells ET that William wouldn’t care that his “dad dancing” went viral. “He is focused on his wife and children right now. He really just wanted it to be a special night for Prince George and Princess Charlotte,” the source says.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kate Middleton did not join William, George and Charlotte for the night out and, instead, <\/span>stayed home with their youngest child<\/a>, Prince Louis, 6, ET has learned. As the Princess of Wales recently confirmed on social media, she is currently <\/span>going through chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer<\/a> and will be undergoing treatment “for a few more months.”<\/span><\/p>\n In the midst of Middleton’s illness, the concert was a very special occasion for Princess Charlotte in particular.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Princess Charlotte is the huge Taylor Swift fan in the family,” another source tells ET. “She has wanted to go to the concert for months, but with her mum being treated for cancer, this was a really special day to be able to celebrate her papa\u2019s birthday like this. Charlotte absolutely loved it.”<\/span><\/p>\n “They are really wonderful children. William and Kate have done a fantastic job raising all three of them,” the source adds. “They understand and appreciate how lucky they are meeting someone like Taylor Swift.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Swift seemed to be just as thrilled with the royals’ attendance as she posted a selfie with the trio and her boyfriend on Instagram with a birthday wish for the future king. “<\/span>Happy Bday M8!” she wrote. “London shows are off to a splendid start \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8\ud83e\udd1d @princeandprincessofwales.”<\/span><\/p>\n Over on William and Kate’s official social media accounts, the family expressed their gratitude for what was sure to become a cherished memory. “Thank you\u00a0@taylorswift\u00a0for a great evening!,” the posts read. “#LondonTSTheErastour.”<\/span><\/p>\n
