The <\/i>Bear<\/i><\/a> cast has a sense of humor about Jeremy Allen White<\/b><\/a>\u2019s sex symbol status, according to his costar <\/b>Abby Elliott<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, we all kinda do,\u201d Elliott, 37, told The Times<\/i><\/a> in an interview published on Saturday, June 22. \u201cBut he\u2019s also an amazing actor, so to be in a scene with someone working at that caliber is thrilling to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

White, 33, plays Carmen \u201cCarmy\u201d Berzatto on the hit Hulu show \u2014 a chef who inherits his family\u2019s Italian beef sandwich shop in Chicago \u2014 while Elliot portrays Carmy\u2019s sister, Natalie (a.k.a. \u201cSugar.\u201d)<\/p>\n

The show, which premiered in 2022, went on to win 10 Primetime Emmy Awards<\/a> in its first season. Earlier this year, The Bear<\/i> had a successful night at the Golden Globes<\/a>, with White winning Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy. Elliot was nominated for her supporting role, ultimately losing out to costar Ayo Edebiri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With season 3 on the way, Elliot confessed that the team felt pressure to continue the show\u2019s success. \u201cBut as soon as we all got to set in Chicago it felt like we\u2019re back in this bubble, in a rhythm and with our family,\u201d she told The Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Saturday Night Live<\/i><\/a> alum continued, \u201cOur director [Christopher Storer<\/b>] goes so fast on set \u2014 it\u2019s unlike any other show I\u2019ve worked on. It\u2019s so punchy, it\u2019s so quick. He will do one or two takes and he\u2019s like, \u2018OK, we\u2019re moving on.\u2019 It feels very reactionary, like it\u2019s in real time, because it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elliott noted that her mom \u201chelped me run lines every night\u201d because the cast needs to arrive on set prepared, adding, \u201cI would just drill it. I\u2019m still dreaming about it. Last night I dreamt that I had a monologue to memorize and I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I can do it this fast!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Before her role on The Bear<\/i>, Elliott joined the SNL<\/i> cast in 2008 at the age of 21. She remained on the series until 2012.<\/p>\n
