\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jon Voight<\/strong><\/a> is singing his praises for his daughter and granddaughter.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/a> and daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt<\/strong><\/a> became Tony winners after The Outsiders<\/em> won Best Musical at the 2024 Tony Awards<\/em><\/a>. Angelina<\/strong>, 49, was a producer on the musical while Vivienne<\/strong>, 15, served as a production assistant.<\/p>\n Following their wins, Jon<\/strong>, 85, gushed over how \u201cproud\u201d he is of his daughter and granddaughter.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI\u2019m very proud of Vivienne,\u201d Jon<\/strong> told TMZ<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m really proud of Angie because she really tries to encourage each of the kids to be what they want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n Jon <\/strong>also recalled Angelina<\/strong> telling him that she was going to produce the Broadway version of the musical, which Vivienne<\/strong> introduced her to.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s amazing. It\u2019s interesting because I just worked with Francis [Ford] Coppola<\/strong><\/a> on Megalopolis<\/em>,\u201d Jon recalled. \u201cDuring the filming of Megalopolis<\/em>, I got a call from Angie and she said, \u2018I\u2019m doing Outsiders<\/em>.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cVivienne read the book and then went down to see this pre-Broadway version close to San Diego. She went down four times and said, \u2018Mom, you\u2019ve got to see this.\u2019 Angie was very interested.
