\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Supernatural <\/em>star Jared Padalecki<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about having past suicidal thoughts and seeking treatment in a clinic.<\/p>\n The now 41-year-old actor opened up about the time period in his upcoming interview on Tommy DiDario<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cI\u2019ve Never Said This Before\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Jared <\/strong>shared (via People<\/a>), \u201cIt was 2015, I had a really low moment I was letting my thoughts take over and going to places of dramatic suicidal ideation. I called my wife and she said, \u2018Get home.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cAnd so, I got home, went to a clinic for a couple weeks and looked into it and haven\u2019t been suicidal since \u2014 not for a moment,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cI needed a full reset. I had spent 15 years in this industry. You go to an audition or on a red carpet and they don\u2019t want, \u2018Jared<\/strong>, how are you doing today?\u2019 \u2018Oh today was rough, I didn\u2019t sleep.\u2019 They want, \u2018Oh it\u2019s great! Excited to be here!\u2019 So I had done that for so long, trying to focus on what\u2019s best for the person who\u2019s talking to me as opposed to just being honest,\u201d he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t wear it as a scarlet letter. It\u2019s not like I\u2019m shameful like, \u2018Hey, I see a therapist, I\u2019ve been to a clinic\u2019. I wear it proudly. I put it on my face and tell everybody. If you\u2019re not in a situation where you need that degree of help then don\u2019t seek it. I needed a surgeon \u2014 not literally \u2014 but I needed it and here I am.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re a human, I\u2019m a human. There are still highs and lows. And today\u2019s a low. I\u2019m fine, nothing to worry about but I have a lot of sadness about Walker <\/em>[being canceled]<\/a>, the family,\u201d Jared <\/strong>said as he grew emotional. \u201cAnd my tears aren\u2019t for myself. I know I\u2019ll be fine because I\u2019m talking to you about it, I talk to [wife Genevieve Padalecki<\/strong><\/a>] about it, I talk to my friends about it.
