Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about feeling like an outsider in the late-night TV landscape.<\/p>\n

Cohen, 56, is celebrating 15 years of Watch What Happens Live<\/a><\/em> this year, but admits he has in the past felt \u201csalty\u201d about the show being left out of the late-night conversation.<\/p>\n

For example, in 2015, various late-night talk show hosts including Jimmy Fallon<\/strong>, Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong>, Seth Meyers<\/strong>, Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong> and Trevor Noah<\/strong> appeared in a photoshoot together for Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>. Cohen wasn\u2019t included.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was very conscious that I wanted to be part of the late-night conversation,\u201d Cohen told Deadline<\/a> in an interview published on Friday, June 21.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know what we\u2019re doing. I know what it means to people and I know what it means to me,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Cohen said that he thought at the time, \u201cThis kind of sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen added that one of the reasons he believes he\u2019s \u201cdiscounted\u201d from the late-night conversation is because he\u2019s not a comedian like his fellow talk show hosts, but an interviewer.<\/p>\n
