Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> proved that she and Gracie Abrams<\/strong> are friendship goals while the duo performed a surprise duet during her Eras Tour<\/em> concert in London.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re celebrating eras of music and I\u2019m gonna challenge myself to sing as many eras of music as possible, and it\u2019s been one of my favorite parts of the tour,\u201d Swift, 34, said during her Eras Tour<\/em> performance at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 23. \u201cIf you know the words to this one, you get extra credit points because it\u2019s only been out for, like, two days.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift noted that the song is \u201ctechnically not one that\u2019s mine at all, it\u2019s my friend Gracie\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I tell you I just love this girl so much \u2026 but when you write with someone it\u2019s like you see the whole thing [and] all the artistry, you see who this person is really and writing with her, she\u2019s like so badass. Like, that\u2019s a writer,\u201d Swift gushed. \u201cI was telling her tonight that I would gauge the excitement level for the song. I\u2019m gonna play the song \u2018Us.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Abrams, 24, proceeded to walk out on stage and the twosome embraced. \u201cSo, Gracie\u2019s album Secret of Us<\/em> just came out,\u201d Swift continued. \u201cI love you so much. \u2026 We had cosmos and dinner and then we came home and opened wine and we were just talking about life.\u201d<\/p>\n Moments before the duet, Abrams was spotted by fans exiting the VIP tent. Abrams, who has opened for several of Swift\u2019s past Eras<\/em> shows, released a duet <\/a>that the two women cowrote called \u201cUs\u201d on Friday, June 21.<\/p>\n \u201cSomething caught our ear at the same time very hard and fast,\u201d Abrams told Billboard<\/em> in a June profile. \u201cSo we ran to the piano and started writing this song. I used to fantasize about that kind of a thing as a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n
