Donald Trump<\/strong> has spent a large part of this last month viciously attacking<\/a> Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg,<\/strong> seemingly in the hopes of either (1) avoiding being indicted for the 2016 hush money scheme involving Stormy Daniels;<\/strong> or (2) inspiring violence against the prosecutor in the event he is actually criminally charged. On Wednesday, though, he appeared to debut a new strategy: kiss the grand jury\u2019s ass.<\/p>\n Just after 8 a.m., the former president took to his social media account\u2014which he started after Twitter banned him for inciting a riot that left multiple people dead\u2014and wrote: \u201cI HAVE GAINED SUCH RESPECT FOR THIS GRAND JURY, & PERHAPS EVEN THE GRAND JURY SYSTEM AS A WHOLE. THE EVIDENCE IS SO OVERWHELMING IN MY FAVOR, & SO RIDICULOUSLY BAD FOR THE HIGHLY PARTISAN & HATEFUL DISTRICT ATTORNEY, THAT THE GRAND JURY IS SAYING, HOLD ON, WE ARE NOT A RUBBER STAMP, WHICH MOST GRAND JURIES ARE BRANDED AS BEING, WE ARE NOT GOING TO VOTE AGAINST A PREPONDERANCE OF EVIDENCE OR AGAINST LARGE NUMBERS OF LEGAL SCHOLARS ALL SAYING THERE IS NO CASE HERE.
