Madonna<\/a>, 65, had told police she was worried about guns in the house.<\/p>\nHe recalled to the New York Times newspaper: \u201cI had a freaking SWAT team come into my house.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said, \u2018I\u2019m not coming out. I\u2019m going to finish my breakfast.\u2019 The next thing I knew, windows were being broken all around the house and they came in.<\/p>\n
\n“[Then] they had me in handcuffs.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd it was only years later that the ‘Mystic River’ actor learned there had been stories he had Madonna “trussed up like a turkey”.<\/p>\n
\nHe noted: “I didn\u2019t know what \u2018trussed up\u2019 meant, first.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nSean dated one woman who, after a “lovely night” together, confronted him about the rumours the next morning while he was outside smoking.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cShe\u2019s looking at me like I killed her dog, [asking] about this hitting Madonna in the head with a baseball bat.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNow I think it\u2019s fair to say that I\u2019m not the biggest guy in the world. But if I hit Mike Tyson in the head with a baseball bat, he\u2019s going to the hospital.”<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Into the Wild’ director hailed Madonna as “someone I love” and contrasted the aftermath of their divorce to the 2010 end of his marriage to Robin Wright, the mother of his children Dylan, 33, and 30-year-old Hopper.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cIt turns out it\u2019s a lot quicker to repair a friendship after divorce if there are not kids involved.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt took Robin and I quite a while. There was a lot of drama.”<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Dead Man Walking’ star also married Leila George in July 2020 but they split in October 2021, and he suggested his heart and brain were “shrinking” during their relationship.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cOn one of my marriages, the background noise of life was a \u2018Housewives of Beverly Hills\u2019 or another thing called \u2018Love Island’.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNot even being in the room \u2014 I\u2019m not saying this to be cute \u2014 I was dying. I felt my heart, my brain shrinking. It was an assault.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSean is single at the moment and feels “thrilled every day”.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019m just free. If I\u2019m going to be in a relationship, I\u2019m still going to be free, or I\u2019m not going to be in it, and I\u2019m not going to be hurting. I don\u2019t sense I\u2019ll have my heart broken by romance again.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
