Harry Jowsey<\/strong> and Jessica Vestal<\/strong> opened up about why their relationship didn\u2019t work out after season 2 of Netflix\u2019s Perfect Match.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u200b\u200b\u201dHarry and I had a lot of conversations about the fact that he is essentially like a veteran in the reality TV space and I was so new to it,\u201d Jessica told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Friday, June 21. \u201cWe had lots of private conversations with him and his family. He was just kind of my comfort zone, so I was like, if you\u2019re asking for a fair chance, why shouldn\u2019t I give you one?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Love Is Blind<\/em> alum said she trusted everything Harry told her when they were in the villa, but \u201coutside of the show it was more of like, an all right, fool me twice shame on me, I\u2019m gonna have to take that on \u2019cause I did know better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout the second season of Perfect Match<\/em>, Jowsey tried to rid himself of his \u201cf\u2014k boy\u201d reputation<\/a> by pursuing a committed relationship with Jessica. However, Harry and Jessica called it quits in the season 2 finale<\/a> after he was inappropriate with costar Melinda Melrose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tContestants on season 1 of Netflix\u2019s Perfect Match competed in a series of challenges to determine which duo was most compatible during the 2023 season. One couple stood victorious at the end of all the eliminations, repairings and new additions to the villa \u2014 Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati. Leading up to the finale, however, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI just want to preface that it was a year ago,\u201d Harry said of his behavior on the June 11 episode of his \u201cBoyfriend Material With Harry Jowsey\u201d podcast. \u201cAt that time, I just broke my 13-month sobriety. I was going through a bit of a breakup. I was going through a hard time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite their ups and downs, Harry and Jessica told ET<\/em> on Friday that they were grateful for the time they spent together on the show. \u201cIt was a great opportunity for us to come on again and try to show a little bit more of your personality and maybe a different side of you because, you know, between these shows, you know, we film this, like, a year ago, there\u2019s been so much growth,\u201d Harry told ET<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou definitely evolve and grow a lot so it\u2019s always good to come back and kind of give the Netflix audience, like, a little revamp of who you are and where you\u2019re going and what you want to do,\u201d the former Too Hot to Handle<\/em> star continued.<\/p>\n

Harry confided in Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in May that Perfect Match<\/em> might be his \u201clast hurrah\u201d on the small screen for a while.<\/p>\n

Jessica, for her part, told Us<\/em> that she\u2019s not ready to give up on love just yet, but doesn\u2019t think she\u2019s likely to read her \u201cfuture husband\u201d letter to someone else any time soon, like she did during her season of Love Is Blind<\/em>.<\/p>\n
