Forty days after announcing his retirement from football in February 2022, Tom Brady<\/strong><\/a> signed on to play one more year with Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers ended with a losing record, and it was widely reported that Tom\u2019s NFL return led to his divorce from Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/strong> later that year. This was something host Kevin Hart<\/strong> gleefully joked about during <\/span>The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady <\/span><\/i>in May. \u201cWhen you got a chance to go 8-9, and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids,\u201d said the comedian, \u201cyou gotta do what the f\u2013k you gotta do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The sad part is, Tom\u2019s decision to participate in the Netflix special \u2013 for which he was allegedly paid $22 million<\/a> \u2013 was another example of the quarterback, 46, putting himself first. \u201cTom\u2019s roast was a phenomenal success, but Gisele says he basically sold out his family<\/a> for an easy paycheck,\u201d an insider exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cShe is still furious and telling people Tom never took her or, more importantly, his children\u2019s feelings into consideration. The hurt he\u2019s caused his family isn\u2019t going away anytime soon.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s not as if Tom is desperate for money: He signed a $375 million, 10-year deal to be Fox\u2019s lead NFL color commentator starting this fall, plus the seven-time Super Bowl champ recently merged his nutrition company, TB12, and his apparel brand, Brady, with activewear label Nobull, where he\u2019s now the No. 2 shareholder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Tom was adding to his sizable fortune, his and Gisele\u2019s kids \u2013 Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11<\/a> \u2013 had to hear jokes like those suggesting their mom, 43, had begun a sexual relationship<\/a> with her jiujitsu instructor boyfriend<\/a>, Joaquim Valente<\/strong>, before she and Tom split. \u201cHow did you not see this coming?\u201d Kevin, 44, jabbed. \u201cEight f\u2013king karate classes a day and she\u2019s still a white belt!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The cruelty wasn\u2019t limited to Gisele and her crew, either.
