In his first performance since his recent DUI arrest in New York, Justin Timberlake<\/a> expressed his gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support. The pop superstar addressed the incident during his concert Friday night (Jun. 21, 2024) in Chicago.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,\u201d Timberlake emotionally shared with the audience.<\/p>\n

He added<\/a>, \u201cI know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back.\u201d Following his heartfelt words, Timberlake performed his hit song \u201cSelfish.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old singer was arrested early Tuesday<\/a> (Jun. 18, 2024) in Sag Harbor on New York\u2019s Long Island. He was arraigned that morning and released without bail after being charged with one count of driving while intoxicated.<\/p>\n

According to the police report, a Sag Harbor officer observed Timberlake\u2019s gray 2025 BMW weaving out of its lane and running a stop sign. Upon pulling him over, the officer noted that Timberlake had \u201cbloodshot and glassy\u201d eyes, a \u201cstrong odor\u201d of alcohol on his breath, and was unsteady on his feet.<\/p>\n
