\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Hunter King<\/strong><\/a> stars in the new Hallmark Channel movie Two Scoops of Italy <\/em><\/strong>and she\u2019s opening up about how she prepared to shoot on location in Italy.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old actress has been in five previous Hallmark films and she was even voted by fans as the top favorite actress on the network<\/a> in Just Jared\u2019s 2023 poll!<\/p>\n In the new movie, Hunter <\/strong>plays a restaurant owner who travels to Italy looking for inspiration to come up with a new menu that will wow her investor. She meets a local gelatiere (Michele Rosiello<\/strong>), who introduces her to the flavors of Italy, including lots of gelato. Of course they\u2019re going to fall in love too!<\/p>\n So, how did Hunter <\/strong>prepare to film in Italy?<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n DuoLingo, of course!<\/p>\n \u201cI tried doing DuoLingo before I came there, and all I learned was how to order a coffee, or espresso, at a cafe,\u201d Hunter <\/strong>said during a Facebook Live<\/a>. \u201cSo I was like, \u2018you guys have to teach me some words.\u2019 And Michele<\/strong> would point to things wherever we were filming like a table, a chair, the sky.\u201d<\/p>\n Hunter<\/strong> has also talked about all the gelato she ate while filming!<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, I do think I had gelato after work [a ton],\u201d she told Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201cDuring the week, probably four or five nights out of the week I would get gelato.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere were multiple days where we were eating gelato or trying new flavors or making gelato,\u201d she added. \u201cJust an absurd amount. I don\u2019t even wanna know if you add it all up into, like, a big pint or, like a gallon.
