\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Teri Hatcher<\/strong><\/a> spilled some tea about her love life. <\/p>\n During a recent interview, the 59-year-old Desperate Housewives<\/em> actress said that she\u2019s \u201csort of given up\u201d on dating at the moment. <\/p>\n She also explained that the decision came after she was kicked off of the popular dating app Hinge. Teri<\/strong> had a hypothesis for what led to her getting removed from the app, too. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere was enough people that I did not respond to, because they would text me things like, are you still \u2018real and spectacular\u2019? \u2014 and I\u2019m like, OK, that\u2019s not who I want to date,\u201d Teri<\/strong> told ET<\/a> about her Hinge experience. <\/p>\n She added that there were also people who doubted that she was \u201creal\u201d and thought that it might be a fake account. <\/p>\n \u201cSo I never answered those people, and I think they got mad and went and complained and said, \u2018There\u2019s somebody on here pretending to be Teri Hatcher<\/strong>,\u2019 and so they just kicked me off. It was probably silly to even try it,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n Why was she on the app in the first place? \u201cI was kind of trying to say to the universe, \u2018I\u2019m open. I\u2019m not afraid.\u2019 I was trying to do that, but I think it\u2019s the wrong place for me,\u201d Teri<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n While she said that she\u2019s not actively looking for love now, that doesn\u2019t mean that she\u2019s totally ruling it out. <\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I don\u2019t want to say I\u2019ve given up. My heart is open. But, you know, I have lovely friends. I travel, I experience things. I take care of my parents. I love my cats. I garden. I go to the beach\u2026. It\u2019s just a very full life and the truth is, I think this person, if there ever is one, is just going to have to be really special, you know,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cRather than pining away, I\u2019ve chosen to just put a lot of effort into the life I want to live.\u201d<\/p>\n
