Brie Garcia<\/strong><\/a> was surprised that her brother-in-law Artem Chigvintsev<\/strong><\/a> was so open about his recent hair transplant \u2014 not that she thinks he needs it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually was laughing because I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, he\u2019s telling people,\u2019\u201d Garcia, 40, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em>, referring to Chigvintsev, 42, discussing his transplant<\/a> on her and sister Nikki Bella<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cThe Nikki & Brie Show<\/a>\u201d podcast earlier this month. \u201cI didn\u2019t know he was going to tell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brie, who was promoting Candy Crush Saga\u2019s World Championships, said she had a discussion with Chigvintsev before his surgery while they took their respective kids to the pool. (Brie shares daughter Birdie, 7, and son Buddy<\/a>, 3, with her husband, Bryan Danielson<\/strong>, while Chigvintsev shares son Matteo, 3, with his wife, Nikki<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was just us two<\/a> and I felt like he didn\u2019t need it at all,\u201d Brie told Us<\/em> of the poolside chat, noting she did \u201cunderstand\u201d Chigvintsev\u2019s motivation. \u201cSometimes the entertainment business makes you feel [you\u2019ve] aged. It\u2019s almost maybe not as accepted,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Brie explained that historically, entertainers \u201chave to feel so youthful<\/a>,\u201d but luckily nowadays, things have changed so that \u201cage is acceptable, but it\u2019s how you carry it\u201d that matters.<\/p>\n

According to Brie, as long as you \u201ccarry it with confidence\u201d age doesn\u2019t really matter \u2014 something she\u2019s still working on mastering for herself. Brie confessed that she doesn\u2019t \u201clike when my grays hang out,\u201d revealing she dyes her hair to cover it up.<\/p>\n

Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are among the talent who have lit up the ballroom. Some of the show\u2019s stars went on to achieve major success in their careers while [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cSo I understand that feeling for [Artem],\u201d she continued. \u201cBut I\u2019m like, if it makes him happy, I just didn\u2019t think he needed it. But if it makes him happy then I\u2019m happy he did it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brie added that Chigvintsev\u2019s openness about the transplant is \u201cwhat I love\u201d about him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, Nikki and I have been so blessed with both our husbands,\u201d she explained. \u201cThey\u2019re just so honest. They\u2019re really honest people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chigvintsev\u2019s hair transplant journey was shared via Dr. Parsa Mohebi<\/strong>\u2019s social media accounts in May. Dancing With the Stars<\/em> Gleb Savchenko<\/strong> joined Chigvintsev during his initial consultation<\/a>, where the doctor drew lines on his scalp to note where the hair would be restored.<\/p>\n

The professional dancer had a microscopic evaluation, followed by measurements of his face to note the \u201cperfect proportions for hairline.\u201d According to a June TikTok<\/a>, Chigvintsev was given an in-depth consultation before undergoing surgery. He was focused on moving his hairline forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought he was going to get an infection. Nikki was like, \u2018You didn\u2019t need to do this. What are you doing to yourself?\u2019\u201d Brie recalled, adding, \u201cBut pain is beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Chigvintsev was home recovering from his surgery, Brie was keeping herself busy in Los Angeles. The former WWE wrestler hosted Candy Crush Saga\u2019s World Championship on June 13 in Hollywood after becoming a fan herself during mom breaks.<\/p>\n
