Simone Biles<\/strong><\/a> is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her road back to the Olympics<\/a> in the new docuseries, Simone Biles Rising<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The official Netflix synopsis recalled the gymnast \u2014 who has seven Olympic medals to her name \u2014 withdrawing from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as her \u201cmental health exploded<\/a> on the international stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSince then, Simone has put in the hard work: facing the difficult traumas of her past, learning to manage her mental health, embracing her journey, and in the process, rebuilding her gymnastics from the ground up,\u201d the synopsis reads. \u201cHer courage to soar knows no bounds as this summer she plans to return to the Olympic stage once again to do what she\u2019s always done \u2013 be the best Simone that she can be. Because through it all, Simone still rises.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the docuseries\u2019 trailer<\/a>, released by the streamer in June, Aly Raisman<\/strong> had nothing but praise for her former teammate. \u201cI know that she\u2019s expected to win all the Gold medals, but even the fact she\u2019s trying to come back is really amazing,\u201d Raisman said in a confessional.<\/p>\n
