Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> is claiming his estranged wife Firerose<\/strong><\/a> tried to stop him from having contact with one of his daughters.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAchy Breaky Heart\u201d singer made the claim in a Monday, June 17, amendment to his May divorce filing<\/a>, though he didn\u2019t clarify which of his daughters he is referring to.<\/p>\n

Cyrus shares daughters Miley<\/strong>, 31, and Noah<\/strong>, 24, with ex-wife Tish Cyrus<\/strong>. He is also the adoptive father of Tish\u2019s eldest daughter, Brandi<\/strong>, 37,<\/p>\n

\u201cAdditionally, since the Plaintiff filed his initial complaint, he discovered that the defendant had been conducting a campaign to isolate the Plaintiff from his family,\u201d reads the amendment obtained by Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cHe has discovered that the Defendant, unknowingly to Plaintiff, blocked at least one (1) of his daughters from being able to contact him on his phone(s) or electronic devices.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBilly Ray Cyrus found love again with singer Firerose following his split from longtime love Tish Cyrus. The pair\u00a0started their relationship as collaborators. They worked on a song titled \u201cNew Day\u201d in July 2021 and even performed it together on several different talk shows. \u201cIt is a song of hope for a new day for [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cyrus filed his initial complaint to annul his marriage from Firerose, 35, on May 23, citing \u201cinappropriate marital conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

Firerose \u2014 real name Johanna Rose Hodges \u2014 accused Cyrus of domestic abuse<\/a> in her own divorce filing on Friday, June 14.<\/p>\n

\u201cWife was the victim of extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse,\u201d Firerose\u2019s attorneys wrote in the complaint, per documents obtained by People<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWife was subjected to Husband\u2019s persistent drug use accompanied with the consumption of marijuana which made Husband unpredictable and volatile towards Wife.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus\u2019 attorneys, Rose Palermo<\/strong> and Jason Talley<\/strong> of Cheatham Palermo and Garrett, called Firerose\u2019s allegations \u201cconfusing\u201d in a statement to Us<\/em> on Tuesday, June 18, claiming that \u201cshe begged Mr. Cyrus to forgive her and take her back only 2 days after he filed his pleadings to dissolve his marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Mr. Cyrus was truly guilty of the allegations that Ms. Hodges alleges in her pleadings, then it is mindboggling to try and explain why she would want to return to live with him. Furthermore, she was pleading with him to give her a chance to explain everything to him,\u201d Cyrus\u2019 attorneys said.<\/p>\n
