However, she found dominance in the foreign film market in the &#8217;60s with Federico Fellini\u2019s<\/span><em><span> La Dolce Vita.<\/span><\/em><span> Following her work in that film, she worked with the famed director three years later on\u00a0<\/span><em><span>8\u00bd<\/span><\/em><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Aim\u00e9e&#8217;s role in 1966&#8217;s <\/span><em><span>A Man and A Woman<\/span><\/em><span>, directed by\u00a0Claude Lelouch, earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. Although she didn&#8217;t win, she did take home a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for her work in the film.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Aim\u00e9e&#8217;s other credits included <\/span><em><span>Lola,<\/span><\/em><span>\u00a01<\/span><em><span>999 Madeleine<\/span><\/em><span>, <\/span><em><span>The General of The Dead Army<\/span><\/em><span>, and <\/span><em><span>Seasons of Our Love<\/span><\/em><span>. According to IMDb,\u00a0Aim\u00e9e&#8217;s last film credit was 2019&#8217;s <\/span><em><span>The Best Years of a Life<\/span><\/em><span>.
