Sabrina Carpenter<\/b><\/a> revealed how she navigated working with <\/span>Kim Kardashian<\/b><\/a> on their Skims collaboration amid the reality star\u2019s feud with <\/span>Taylor Swift<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAs much as people want to believe you\u2019re tuned into every little thing, I\u2019m not because I\u2019m constantly working,\u201d Sabrina, 25, told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Monday, June 17, referencing Taylor, 34, and Kim\u2019s ongoing drama.<\/p>\n The \u201cEspresso\u201d singer has a close friendship with Taylor and even joined her as an opening act on her Eras tour. Due to their strong bond<\/a>, many fans were shocked when Sabrina joined forces with Kim, 43, to star in a campaign for her Skims line. Sabrina posed for photos to promote the brand\u2019s Stretch Lace and Fits Everybody collections, which was released on April 3.<\/p>\n \u201cIn that scenario, I\u2019ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end,\u201d Sabrina added about how she and Taylor worked through the situation<\/a>.<\/p>\n She then said that there was \u201cno weirdness\u201d for her to participate<\/a> in the campaign. \u201cBut I know people will just say things because that\u2019s all they have time to do,\u201d Sabrina noted.<\/p>\n Not only did she reveal how she navigated working with the Kardashians<\/span><\/i><\/a> star, but Sabrina also gushed about Taylor\u2019s career during the interview. After explaining that she holds the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d singer to \u201csuch a different echelon,\u201d Sabrina said, \u201cI could never compare my life, my career, <\/span>my trajectory to anything close to what she\u2019s done<\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe always puts out music at a time where I didn\u2019t realize I needed those songs,\u201d Sabrina said, noting that she heard some of Taylor\u2019s The Tortured Poets Department<\/em><\/a> album before it was released in April. \u201cWe\u2019re very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration \u2026 She played me \u2018But Daddy I Love Him\u2019 before it came out, and that\u2019s also one of my favorites.\u201d<\/p>\n While Taylor and Kim\u2019s feud initially began in 2016 when the TV personality\u2019s then-husband, Kanye West<\/strong>, referred to the \u201cEnchanted\u201d singer as a \u201cbitch\u201d in his song \u201cFamous,\u201d their drama was reignited when the Pennsylvania native sang about their issues in the 2024 song \u201cthanK you aIMee.\u201d Not only does the song spell out Kim\u2019s name in the title, but the track also notes how much Taylor was negatively impacted by the mother of four\u2019s actions<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019ve changed much and so I changed your name and any real defining clues,\u201d Taylor sings on the song.<\/p>\n While the \u201cFortnight\u201d singer has not publicly discussed the inspiration behind the song, many fans quickly connected the dots and taunted Kim on social media after TTPD<\/em> was released<\/a>.<\/p>\n
