A tragic loss. Full House\u2019s<\/em> Jodie Sweetin<\/strong><\/a> got emotional while grieving the loss of friend Stephen \u2018tWitch\u2019 Boss<\/a> just hours after the announcement of his death at age 40.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m still in a lot of shock,\u201d Sweetin told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> <\/a>on Wednesday, December 14, adding that Boss\u00a0<\/span>\u2014 with whom she went to college \u2014<\/span>\u00a0was \u201csuch a talent and such an amazing, warm, wonderful heart. He will be greatly missed.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n TMZ<\/em><\/a> reported earlier on Wednesday that Boss\u2019 wife, Allison Holker<\/strong><\/a>, contacted officials at the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday, December 13, after discovering that the DJ had left their home without his car. After receiving a later call for a shooting at an L.A. hotel, police found Boss dead by reported suicide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Holker later confirmed the So You Think You Can Dance<\/em> alum\u2019s death<\/a> in a heartbreaking statement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,\u201d the dancer<\/span>, 34, said in a statement to NBC News<\/a>. \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She continued, \u201cTo say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won\u2019t be a day that goes by that we won\u2019t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Holker concluded her statement with a message to her late husband: \u201cStephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Boss and Holker tied the knot in 2013<\/a> and shared three kids: Holker\u2019s daughter from a previous relationship, Weslie, 14 \u2014 whom the choreographer adopted \u2014 son Maddox, 6, and daughter Zaia, 3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Wednesday, Sweetin told ET<\/em> that her daughter Zoie, 14, is close with Boss and Holker\u2019s eldest daughter<\/a> and that she had reached out to Holker<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>to offer her condolences. (The Fuller House<\/em> alum s<\/span>hares Zoie with ex Cody Herpin<\/strong> and a second daughter, Beatrix, 12, with ex Morty Coyle<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur kids went to school together and he and I went to college together,\u201d she shared. \u201cI just texted her, I don\u2019t expect anything in return, but I just want her to know she\u2019s loved.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Boss first rose to stardom after appearing on SYTYCD<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in 2008 before joining\u00a0The Ellen DeGeneres<\/em> Show<\/em>\u00a0as the in-house DJ from 2014 to its final episode in May<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>2022. The Alabama native later collaborated with the 64-year-old former talk show host\u00a0<\/span>again for the NBC game show Ellen\u2019s Game of Games<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Shortly after news of his death broke, DeGeneres to<\/span>ok to social media to pay her respects to the freestyle dancer and beloved<\/a> colleague.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light,\u201d the Finding Dory<\/em><\/span> star wrote via Instagram<\/span>.\u00a0<\/b>\u201cHe was my family, and I loved him with all my heart.
