\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> revealed what drew her to accept a role in her new rom-com A Family Affair<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The 56-year-old actress shares the screen in the new Netflix project with Zac Efron<\/strong><\/a> and Joey King<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n While attending the movie\u2019s Los Angeles premiere<\/a> this week, she opened up about the project and the bond that she shares with her costars. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, she explained that she was drawn to the idea of doing something light and fun quite a few dramas. <\/p>\n \u201cI went, yeah, I would love to be able to go and do that and jump in. I had done Expats<\/em>, which took so much out of my soul, and so I was like, OK, I\u2019m not producing this, I\u2019m a hired actor and I\u2019m happy to show up and be a part of the team and have fun,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n Nicole<\/strong> added that part of the draw was the chance to bond with the team, adding that Joey<\/strong> was \u201creally fun.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThere was a lot of sitting around and talking and a lot of easy camaraderie, which is a nice way to make a film,\u201d she gushed. \u201cThere wasn\u2019t so much stress, which is kind of nice, I have to say, because so many of them are very stressful.\u201d<\/p>\n A Family Affair<\/em> premieres on Netflix on June 28 \u2013 Check out the trailer<\/a>!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
