fired by MTV, the polarizing reality star returned to the Teen Mom franchise on Thursday night, touching down in Florida on an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter to spend time with Briana DeJesus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI definitely have to get a fresh start and get out of North Carolina, so that\u2019s why I\u2019m here,\u201d Jenelle said at one point, referencing her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/jenelle-evans-files-to-separate-david-eason-is-a-drunk-and-a-deadbeat-and-im-done\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent split from David Eason<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><noscript><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"534\" height=\"356\" (MTV)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Evans made it evident during her visit with DeJesus that she chose to (FINALLY!) walk away from Eason after her oldest son, Jace, ran away from hope last fall.<\/p>\n<p>And then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/01\/david-eason-charged-with-new-felony-accused-of-strangling-stepson-jace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accused Eason of strangling him<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jenelle cited this incident as a \u201cblessing in disguise\u201d only because it enabled her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/05\/jenelle-evans-granted-restraining-order-against-violent-bigoted-husband\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to get a no-contact order<\/a> between Eason and Jace, which she hopes will keep the teenager safe.<\/p>\n<p>This alleged confrontation wasn\u2019t the first reported example of Eason acting in a violent manner, of course.<\/p>\n<p>He admitted in 2019 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2021\/05\/jenelle-evans-david-eason-beat-and-killed-our-dog-because-thats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">murdering his family\u2019s pet dog<\/a>\u2026 and Evans told a 911 operator a year prior that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/slideshows\/jenelle-evans-911-call-released-david-eason-broke-my-collar-bone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her husband had broken her href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1403607\/teen-moms-jenelle-evans-reveals-the-breaking-point-that-pushed-her-to-leave-david-eason\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jenelle told  E! News<\/a> this week of how she reacted to the dog-killing. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then I moved back because I realized that if you just leave your house within a marriage, it\u2019s called abandoning your house. Cry yourself to sleep, bitch.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(In his own statement to E!, Eason simply said: \u201cI can not elaborate on any of that at this time but I can tell you that those things did not happen. When the truth does come out you will all be very, very surprised!\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>Eason, who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/david-eason-jenelle-evans-cheated-on-me-sooo-many-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alleged infidelity on Jenelle\u2019s part<\/a>, was indicted in January on a child abuse charge related to his altercation with Jace.<\/p>\n<p>Having at last regained custody of her from her mom Barbara Evans in March 2023 after a decade-long fight, \u201cI didn\u2019t want anything, anything to come in between that,\u201d Jenelle now tells E!. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo for him to come in between that, it was just a real breaking point for me as well. I\u2019ve been at the battle for Jace for years, and it\u2019s like, he\u2019s finally here.
