And that illness has unfortunatly lingered.<\/p>\n<p>What does he have? Savenok\/Getty Images for WE Day)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-many-of-us-know-someone-with-this-same-condition\">Many of us know someone with this same condition<\/h2>\n<p>It turned out that Emilio Estevez was left with an illness that he has referred to as \u201cLong Haul Syndrome.\u201d More commonly, we know this as Long COVID. He admitted that he suffered from everything, including \u201cfever, sweats, brain fog and mood swings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned this \u2014 among other things \u2014 in a <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/11\/emilio-estevez-leaving-the-mighty-ducks-game-changers-season-2-gordon-bombay-covid-vaccine-mandate-1234868978\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lengthy statement<\/a> to <em>Deadline <\/em>in 2021 while describing his departure from the <em>Mighty Ducks<\/em> sequel series. It is unclear just how much of a recovery he has made since this statement.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has been well enough in the last year to promote the rerelease of his 2011 movie, <em>The Way<\/em>, as well as film scenes for the documentary about the Brat Pack. (More on that in a bit.)<\/p>\n<p>Estevez did not return for Season 2 of the Disney project. Even the Brat Pack can have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/06\/rob-lowe-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">some political weirdos<\/a> among its ranks. And while Estevez <em>could <\/em>be leaving something out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2020\/12\/letitia-wright-posts-anti-vaxx-conspiracy-videos-black-panther-f\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most anti-vaxxers tend to be alarmingly vocal<\/a>. They don\u2019t hide it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u2018BRATS\u2019 | Official Trailer | June 13 on Hulu\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MxVNQkRM5Qw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-emilio-estevez-was-part-of-hulu-s-brats-documentary-on-the-brat-pack\">Emilio Estevez was part of Hulu\u2019s \u2018Brats\u2019 documentary on the Brat Pack<\/h2>\n<p>Though some iconic \u201980s coming-of-age stars like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/06\/molly-ringwald-net-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Molly Ringwald<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/06\/judd-nelson-brat-pack-movie-brats-documentary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Judd Nelson opted out<\/a>, others \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/06\/demi-moore-net-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A-listers like Demi Moore<\/a> \u2014 chose to participate in the project.<\/p>\n<p>The heavy dose of 1980s nostalgia is well-timed. The past several years have seen an abundance of projects that seek to recapture that polarizing decade. For some Millennials, it seems reminiscent of the \u201990s fascination with the 1960s.<\/p>\n<p>It makes sense to get a lot of this group of memorable actors to reflect upon their slice of entertainment history.
