The singer and actress, 31, has been away from the 36-year-old music producer \u2013 who she has been dating since June 2023 \u2013 as she attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film \u2018Emilia Perez\u2019 and filmed the latest series of her hit show \u2018Only Murders in the Building\u2019 in New York.<\/p>\n
Benny marked their reunion by posting a snap of Selena as she closed her eyes and rested on a white pillow: \u201cShe\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair\u2019s reunion comes after Selena said she was planning to adopt a baby before she met Benny.<\/p>\n
She told Time about resigning herself to being a single mum: \u201cI was alone for five years and I got really used to it. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSelena added she then \u201ccame up with my plan\u201d, which was for her to adopt at the age of 35 if she \u201chad not met anyone\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe said about things changing when she met Benny: \u201cIt just happens when you least expect it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSelena added her new partner has tuned out the \u201cnoise\u201d when it comes to \u201churtful\u201d things trolls say about her body.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI know what people can do to people I love. My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him. I don\u2019t know what the future holds, but I do know that he\u2019s not going anywhere anytime soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSelena took her romance with Benny, born Benjamin Levine, public in December, and he told earlier this month how his \u201cnext goal\u201d is to have children with the actress.<\/p>\n
\nHe told \u2018The Howard Stern Show\u2019: \u201cThat\u2019s my next goal, to check the box (of having a family.)<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI have a ton of godkids; I\u2019ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSelena\u2019s close friends and family are said to be convinced she and Benny are in their relationship for the long-term.<\/p>\n
\nOne insider told \u2018Entertainment Tonight\u2019: \u201cShe feels very at home and at ease with Benny. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cTheir friends, family and loved ones on both sides are all supportive and happy to see what they think could be an amazing and long-lasting relationship between the two of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
