We kept doing this kiss, and I\u2019ve got a lot of pale makeup on and I would have to do our makeup checks \u2013 on both of us, between takes \u2013 and I would end up looking as though I\u2019d been sucking a caramel chocolate bar after each take because his makeup would come off on me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nKate praised her co-star for being \u201cquite the romancer\u201d, adding: \u201cNo wonder every young girl in the world wanted to be kissed by Leonardo DiCaprio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nBut she added: \u201cIt was not all it\u2019s cracked up to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nIn another interview with Variety, Kate dismissed rumours of a rift between her and James Cameron, 69, as \u201cstupid\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nThey came about after she discussed the difficulties of shooting \u2018Titanic\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\nKate added: \u201cThere\u2019s a part of me that feels almost sad that stupid, speculative \u2018Titanic\u2019 stuff at the time overshadowed the actual relationship I have with him. \u201cHe knows I will be up for anything. Any challenge, any piece of direction you give me?
