Photo by Carrie Nelson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cMusk knowingly and purposefully created an unwelcome hostile work environment based on his conduct of interjecting vile sexual photographs, memes, and commentary that demeaned women and the LGBTQ+ community into the workplace,\u201d the plaintiffs stated in the complaint, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (Jun. 12, 2024) and initially reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/spacex-sued-by-engineers-fired-after-accusing-elon-musk-sexism-2024-06-12\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/spacex-sued-by-engineers-fired-after-accusing-elon-musk-sexism-2024-06-12\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the lawsuit, female engineers faced routine harassment and sexist remarks within SpaceX&#8217;s \u201cpervasively sexist culture,\u201d and their complaints were systematically ignored.<br \/>\u201cTo have been terminated for protesting SpaceX\u2019s failure to take basic measures to prevent sexual harassment is patently retaliatory, wrong, and actionable,\u201d said <strong>Anne B. SpaceX subsequently sued the NLRB, and that case remains unresolved.<\/p>\n<p>This filing coincides with a new report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/business\/elon-musk-spacex-employee-relationships-8bca2806\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em><\/a>, which alleges that Musk repeatedly approached female employees at SpaceX for sex and to have his children.
