I started writing it two days into the pandemic and it was like an escape for ne into an imaginary world that I created.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I think we all did that. We were all trying to figure out what was going in in the world and what was going on in our lives. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were all trying to figure out escapes in books or movies \u2013 or wine!<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cAnd you know some people bought pets. It was such a time where we all had to figure out ways to get through it together.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI made an album that we would connect over. I felt so far apart (from you) \u2013 we had to cancel shows because of the pandemic and I was really missing you guys so I started making music. <\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI made music that was a little different than what I made before. But it was just really fun and I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll really every stop doing that\u2026 I love creating fictional characters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2018Folklore\u2019 was a surprise release when it came out on 25 July, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\nTaylor had cancelled the concert tour for her seventh studio album \u2018Lover\u2019 in the wake of the Covid outbreak and described the new record as \u201ca collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe singer also told fans in Liverpool on Thursday the winds were so high during the gig her ear pieces had sounds like \u201cwind tunnels\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/taylor-swift-battled-lockdown-creating-folklore-album-1401303.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>14 June 2024 Taylor Swift got through lockdown by creating her \u2018Folklore\u2019 album.
