Amy Robach<\/strong><\/a> and T.J. Holmes<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 connections with some of their former Good Morning America<\/em><\/a> coworkers didn\u2019t last in the aftermath of their scandal.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we went back to work for two days after that tabloid that shall not be named released those photos,\u201d Robach, 51, said on the Wednesday, June 12, episode of the \u201cAmy & T.J.\u201d<\/a> podcast. \u201cAs we pointed out, just discovering us in a private relationship. They did not catch us cheating, that was not what happened. But when we came back for those two days, we were surrounded with support. My dressing room was full of all of our colleagues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes, 46, interjected that some of their coworkers\u2019 sentiments were \u201cfake\u201d and absolute \u201cB.S.\u201d Then Robach shared that after she and Holmes were let go from their jobs<\/a>, a lot of their colleagues also disappeared from their lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut once it was clear that we weren\u2019t coming back, I never heard from most people again,\u201d Robach admitted.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer GMA3 cohosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes\u2019 reported romance made headlines in November 2022 when the TV personalities \u2014 both married to other people \u2014 were photographed getting cozy on various outings throughout the month. The pictures, first published by the Daily Mail, showed the pair holding hands in a car, laughing at a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Holmes, for his part, understood to a \u201ccertain degree\u201d why some of their former colleagues opted to keep their distance.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody is trying to hold on to their jobs, they don\u2019t want to be seen as an ally for two people that ABC News doesn\u2019t like,\u201d he said. \u201cWe get it to a certain degree, and for us, we stayed away from some of our former colleagues because we were worried about them.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Holmes and Robach have not been in touch with most of their former coworkers, they do remain close with a select few. The couple confessed they had lunch with one close pal, but were hesitant to meet with them in public due to fear of backlash.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a guy we have been close to for 10 years now and we didn\u2019t want to get whatever our stank is on him for some reason,\u201d Holmes said. \u201cWe struggled to get out of the mindset, but friends like that help and time helps.\u201d<\/p>\n
