Former Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell <\/b><\/a>claims that Dan Schneider<\/b> screamed at him in a closet on the set of All That<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mitchell, 45, recalled that heated moment on the Tuesday, June 11, episode of Keke Palmer<\/b>\u2019s podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer<\/i><\/span><\/a>. He was 18 or 19 years old at the time, he told Palmer, when Schneider \u2014\u00a0a writer on Mitchell\u2019s sketch comedy show, All That <\/i>\u2014\u00a0directed rage his way.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe vibe of the show started to change a little bit. [The show\u2019s co-creator] Brian Robbins <\/b>started to do Varsity Blues<\/i> and all these different movies and the production team started to blow up, so they left,\u201d Mitchell said of personnel changes on All That. <\/i>\u201cAnd they left us with the head writer, Dan Schneider. So he\u2019s writing, and me and him kind of bump heads a little bit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

One day, \u201cI remember me and Dan had a big argument on set,\u201d he continued. \u201cHe was like, \u2018Let\u2019s go over here to this room right here, in this closet.\u2019 He closed the door and he just took off, you know, just yelling all this wild stuff.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFrom the Repair Man (man man man) to Lester Oakes Construction Worker and everyone in between, the characters of All That are etched into the minds of \u201990s kids everywhere. Nickelodeon\u2019s half-hour sketch comedy show originally ran from 1994 to 2000, spawning spinoffs like Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show and becoming the signature [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mitchell walked away from Schneider.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBeing an adult at this point, I had a decision to make, you know what I mean? I was just like, OK, either we [are] going to fight or either I\u2019m going to leave,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd so that\u2019s what I did. I left the situation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mitchell is the latest Nickelodeon alum to talk about negative experiences working with Schneider, 58, who co-created The Amanda Show<\/i>, Drake & Josh <\/i>and iCarly<\/i>, among other series on the children\u2019s network. Earlier this year, Investigation Discovery released an explosive docuseries, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV<\/i><\/span><\/a>, that detailed\u00a0<\/span>Schneider\u2019s tenure at Nick and his alleged inappropriate behavior. It also covered allegations of sexual abuse, specifically involving former dialogue coach Brian Peck<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
