In Touch Weekly<\/em><\/a> why she won\u2019t sign Ronald Smith\u2019s unilateral divorce settlement.<\/p>\nAs is so often the case with divorce, a major issue is financial realities. Money.<\/p>\n
\u201cRonald told me he wanted to get it done immediately,\u201d Tiffany shared.<\/p>\n\u201cAnd,\u201d Tiffany continued, \u201cI asked him very nicely if he could please give me a few weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
She explained that she would need that much time \u201cto get the money together.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tiffany then admitted: \u201cI\u2019ve been struggling a little bit financially since returning from South Africa.\u201d Remember, Tiffany spent four exhausting months in South Africa.<\/p>\nShortly after arriving, she discovered that Ronald had not broken up with his girlfriend. <\/p>\n
He had told his girlfriend that Tiffany was only there to bring their daughter, Carley, to visit. And that she was staying with his mother. That was untrue.<\/p>\n
Infamously, when Tiffany revealed Ronald\u2019s misdeeds \u2014 including accusing him of stealing money from her to gamble \u2014 he became enraged, punching the camera and refusing to film any further. Classy guy.<\/p>\n\u201cI have been getting my things back on track that I neglected when I was overseas,\u201d Tiffany shared.<\/p>\n
\u201cI did ask him to just be a little bit patient with me,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd that once I had the money for the divorce lawyer,\u201d Tiffany continued, \u201cthat I would pay it and get it done 100%!\u201d <\/p>\n\u201cI am absolutely not trying to keep him married to me,\u201d Tiffany affirmed, quashing some unfair speculation.<\/p>\n
She reminded everyone that \u201cas \u201cI would gain absolutely nothing from it other than a headache.\u201d She said that last bit with a laugh. And she\u2019s not wrong!<\/p>\n
Initially, Tiffany noted, Ronald \u201cagreed\u201d to her request for time to get things together.<\/p>\nThis, Tiffany explained, is why she felt \u201ccompletely caught off guard\u201d over Ronald\u2019s claims that she \u201crefused\u201d to sign anything.<\/p>\n
Instead, Tiffany insisted that she and Ronald \u201cdid have a conversation about him giving me a little time.\u201d<\/p>\n
So, yeah, she\u2019s pretty weirded out by Ronald\u2019s allegations. But probably not that surprised. He is who he is.<\/p>\n90 Day Fiance: The Other Way alum Ronald Smith thought that he was really being slick by posting a \u201cthrowback\u201d pic of himself with Tiffany Franco on Instagram.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nMeanwhile, Tiffany commented that \u201cI have no ill feelings towards him or Lauren and I wish them the absolute best.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shadily, she detailed: \u201cLauren sent him the money for him to divorce me last time back in November [2021].\u201d<\/p>\n
Tiffany added: \u201cI think and he used that money for something else.\u201d Well, obviously.<\/p>\nTiffany also added that Ronald \u201csent a fake divorce document\u201d to her, but she later \u201cfound out that those documents were falsified.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amazing, messy stuff.<\/p>\n
This is why Tiffany isn\u2019t going to blindly sign whatever Ronald sent her. Well, that and common sense.<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m not making the same mistake twice,\u201d Tiffany affirmed. \u201cI will not fill out the ones he sent me.\u201d<\/p>\n
She laid out that \u201cI\u2019m asking him for a little time so that I can get a lawyer myself and do it on my own.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tiffany explained: \u201cThat way I will know it\u2019s done and that way he will not take more money from this poor girl.\u201d<\/p>\nMeanwhile, Ronald is characteristically furious that Tiffany is talking about their \u201cpast\u201d like this.<\/p>\n
\u201cTypical Tiffany, always bringing up the past. Why does she feel the need to say this?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat does it matter who even paid for it?\u201d Ronald predictably asked. <\/p>\n\u201cShe thinks I [used] it on something else? Unless she knows and have proof, she must rather not think because it\u2019s false,\u201d Ronald complained.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe must rather focus on now and getting divorce done now stop talking about the past because now is what matters not last year,\u201d he demanded.<\/p>\n
Ronald continued, whining: \u201cCome on Tiffany, no bad blood, but let\u2019s get [our] divorce done please.\u201d If he\u2019s the one claiming that she\u2019s dragging her heels, why is he complaining that she\u2019s explaining herself? Typical Ronald. He will never change.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
