It\u2019s not clear exactly how the new versions will be different, with Netflix saying they will \u201cdelve further into the mythology and madness of Zack Snyder\u2019s epic sci-fi saga in the viciously sexier, bloodier world of Rebel Moon<\/em>.\u201d They will presumably be quite a bit longer than the original films \u2014 both of which clock in at over two hours \u2014 but at least they don\u2019t appear to have been filmed in 4:3<\/a>. Snyder previously said<\/a> that the director\u2019s cuts would include \u201cclose to an hour of extra content.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As part of the release, the new versions of Rebel Moon<\/em> have been given new names as well. The first film, originally known as A Child of Fire<\/em>, has been redubbed Chapter One: Chalice of Blood <\/em>for the director\u2019s cut. Meanwhile the second film, The Scargiver<\/em>, has been given the title Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
