Bachelor\u2019s<\/em><\/a> Joey Graziadei<\/strong> <\/a>and Kelsey Anderson<\/strong><\/a> are channeling their inner Nick Miller and Jessica Day as they adjust to cohabitating together \u2014 and with two additional roommates.<\/p>\n During their Monday, June 10, appearance on Jason Tartick\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cTrading Secrets<\/a>\u201d podcast, Kelsey, 26, opened up about how the couple\u2019s current living arrangements \u2014 a four bedroom, three bathroom home in New Orleans with Kelsey\u2019s two girl friends \u2014 came to be after getting engaged on season 28 of The Bachelor<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI was still working, and so I was like, \u2018You know, I gotta go back to my, like, I\u2019m not quitting my job,’\u201d Kelsey recalled saying after cameras stopping rolling. \u201cHe was just living with his sister, so I was like, \u2018You can move in with me.\u2019 I have a very big room, and my roommates were all in. They\u2019re like, \u2018We can\u2019t wait to get to know Joey,\u2019 and it\u2019s kinda like a New Girl<\/em><\/a> situation.\u201d<\/p>\n Joey, for his part, agreed that the duo\u2019s lives look eerily similar to the beloved TV show. \u201cYeah. I\u2019m on a like, comedy sketch right now. I feel like I\u2019m full-on in a New Girl<\/em> situation,\u201d he quipped. \u201cThere\u2019s three girls and one Joey. I\u2019m just, like, sitting there in the middle of the hallway.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelsey also compared the situation to another famous ensemble TV series, Friends<\/em><\/a> \u2014 especially when their roomates\u2019 \u201cboyfriends are over too,\u201d she said \u2014 with Joey calling the situation a \u201cgreat atmosphere to walk into\u201d after living with his sister. He noted that sharing a roof with his sibling was a \u201cstrategic\u201d move while serving as the lead for the ABC series.<\/p>\n \u201cLike, I was living in Hawaii. There\u2019s no way I could be living there with the amount that I was gonna be doing with the press going from New York to LA,\u201d he said. \u201cSo I was like, \u2018I need to either go find a new place, or I have to get into a place that\u2019s gonna let me be able to travel pretty easily on the mainland.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n Joey added that it would have been \u201cwrong\u201d to pull Kelsey away from her entire life as she \u201cdropped her whole life\u201d to be a part of The Bachelor<\/em>. \u201cAnd I knew that regardless of what was going to happen, my life was going to have to change and go somewhere else,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI love being there,\u201d Joey added of his new abode.<\/p>\n Although the duo have made a home \u201cbase\u201d out<\/a> of Kelsey\u2019s digs, they also shared that most of their time since wrapping the show has been spent traveling.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s, like, our closet right now because we\u2019ve been traveling<\/a> so much,\u201d Kelsey quipped. \u201cLike, that\u2019s just, like, where our clothes are. We unpack and repack to go to the next place right now.\u201d<\/p>\n New Girl<\/em> aired on Fox for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018.
