Lala Kent<\/a> is grateful for a break from\u00a0<\/span>Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n On the latest episode of <\/span>iHeartPodcast’s\u00a0Two Ts in a Pod<\/em><\/a>, the reality star — who’s currently <\/span>pregnant with her second child<\/a> — reflected on\u00a0<\/span>VPR<\/span><\/em>‘s 11th season.<\/span><\/p>\n The latest installment came after <\/span>Tom Sandoval<\/a>‘s affair with <\/span>Rachel Leviss<\/a>, which he carried out during his relationship with <\/span>Ariana Madix<\/a>. The tryst prompted Ariana to largely <\/span>refuse to film\u00a0with Tom<\/a>, and left many cast members, including Lala, <\/span>stuck in the middle<\/a> of their friendship with Ariana and <\/span>their dedication to making\u00a0VPR<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Was the show in jeopardy? Yes. And not because of anybody else but Tom Sandoval,” Lala explained. “You wrecked the group. The show’s based on the group, OK?”<\/span><\/p>\n Filming picked up just months after <\/span>Scandoval<\/a> became public, and Lala noted that “a little bit more downtime to process” might have led to a more cohesive season 11.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While the cast wasn’t granted that for the most recent season, they have been given this summer off. It marks the first time\u00a0<\/span>VPR\u00a0<\/span><\/em>hasn’t filmed over the summer since its premiere in 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n “Am I scared? Truthfully, I feel a little bit relieved. I want a break,” Lala said. “I cried every day out of frustration. I usually look forward to going and filming that show, [but this season] I dreaded every second. Every time they said, ‘Hey, you’ve got a day off tomorrow,’ I cried tears of joy because I was so happy I did not have to engage. I have never felt that way before.”<\/span><\/p>\n Though filming for season 12 isn’t underway as of now, ET previously reported that <\/span>the show isn’t coming to an end<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Bravo doesn’t comment on casting, a source told ET, “There’s always a possibility of a cast shakeup, or having the legacy cast members move to\u00a0<\/span>The Valley<\/em><\/a>, but no decisions have been made yet.”<\/span><\/p>\n Lala, who shares 3-year-old Ocean with ex Randall Emmett, was one\u00a0<\/span>VPR\u00a0<\/span><\/em>cast member that some thought <\/span>may make the move to the series’ spinoff<\/a>, which stars <\/span>Jax Taylor<\/a>, <\/span>Brittany Cartwright<\/a> and <\/span>Kristen Doute<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n However, that appears to not be the case anymore, as <\/span>Jax has expressed<\/a> his distaste for the idea, a comment Lala responded to on the podcast by calling him a “buffoon.” She also revealed that she and Jax’s estranged wife, Brittany, are “<\/span>taking a break from each other<\/a>.”<\/span><\/p>\n As for when\u00a0<\/span>VPR\u00a0<\/span><\/em>will begin filming season 12 — and which cast members will be there when cameras are picked up — ET’s source noted that cast member commitments to other projects — including Ariana’s\u00a0<\/span>hosting duties on\u00a0Love Island<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>her August return to Broadway<\/a>, as well as\u00a0<\/span>Lisa Vanderpump<\/a>\u00a0likely filming a second season of Hulu’s\u00a0<\/span>Vanderpump Villa<\/em><\/a>— “are factors at play in that decision.”<\/span><\/p>\n RELATED CONTENT:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
