Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Captain Sandy Yawn<\/strong><\/a> reflected on the leadership skills she admired \u2014 but didn\u2019t see in everyone she worked with over the years.<\/p>\n

During the Monday, June 10, episode of the hit Bravo series, Sandy overheard Aesha Scott<\/strong>\u2018s conversation<\/a> with stew Bri Muller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really sorry that yesterday was such a stressful day for you,\u201d Aesha told Bri, who responded, \u201cI just felt s\u2014ty for disappointing you because that\u2019s the last thing I wanted to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aesha reassured the third chief stew that she was doing the best she could. \u201cHonestly, it was the first day of a new boat. It was a f\u2014king s\u2014t show, everything was everywhere and you will find your place,\u201d the chief stew said to Bri. \u201cWe will get better each day. You will be amazing today. Thank you for your hard work, I really appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOver the years, Below Deck fans have become familiar with many captains \u2014 and some made more memorable impressions than others. Below Deck, which premiered in 2013, explored the glamorous world of yachting and the not as beautiful behind-the-scenes situations that the crew must handle. The first season introduced viewers to Captain Lee Rosbach and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After Bri left, Sandy praised Aesha for the way she handled the situation<\/a>, saying, \u201cThat was so good.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Aesha pointed out how important it was as a leader to \u201clift\u201d up their crew. \u201cYou know how many people are unaware of that?\u201d Sandy asked.<\/p>\n

Since joining Below Deck Med in season 2, Sandy has remained a staple of the first Below Deck<\/em> spinoff series<\/a>. Throughout the seasons, chief stew Hannah Ferrier<\/strong>, bosun Malia White<\/strong>, chef Adam Glick<\/strong>, bosun Jo\u00e3o Franco<\/strong> and now Aesha have been Sandy\u2019s recurring crew members.<\/p>\n

Sandy worked with Hannah on several seasons of the show before receiving backlash for firing the fan-favorite chief stew<\/a> for having Valium and a CBD vape pen in her cabin. Despite fans\u2019 disapproval, Sandy has continued to stand by the choice.<\/p>\n

As a result of Hannah\u2019s exit, Sandy has worked with different chief stews season to season<\/a> including Katie Flood, Natasha \u201cTasha\u201d Webb, Natalya \u201cNat\u201d Scudder, Tumi Mhlongo<\/strong> and now Aesha.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would work with every one of them [again],\u201d Sandy said while on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em> in October 2023 about the \u201cgreat leaders\u201d from the show. \u201cEven Hannah.\u201d<\/p>\n

That same month, Hannah offered her opinion on those who came after<\/a> her, writing via Instagram comments, \u201cAugh. I get why you try [to] replace me every season. \ud83d\ude34.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandy, however, didn\u2019t disagree with the former chief stew\u2019s<\/a> Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em> opinions. \u201cWell, she\u2019s accurate on the Below Deck Med [side of things],\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2023. \u201cShe knows that\u2019s not my decision. So I don\u2019t know what to do about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Aesha back on Below Deck Med<\/em>, Sandy and viewers alike seem happy with the choice. Aesha recently gushed about getting to reunite with Sandy.<\/p>\n
