Bobby Berk<\/strong><\/a> announced he was leaving Queer Eye<\/em><\/a> in November 2023, after six years on the series. It was announced that Jeremiah Bren<\/strong>t would be taking his place in February 2024, and the news left fans curious about the new star of the popular show.<\/p>\n Fans might remember Jeremiah from Bravo\u2019s The Rachel Zoe Project<\/em>, as that\u2019s when he made his reality TV debut in 2011. Jeremiah served as a styling associate in season 4 before he became the host of Home Made Simple<\/em>, a home makeover show that aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network. The Modesto, California, native stayed with the series for two seasons and then took on TLC\u2019s Nate and Jeremiah by Design<\/em>, which also featured his husband, Nate Berkus<\/strong>. You will be seeing more of me very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n After Bobby\u2019s announcement, Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> reported that his departure was due to \u201cchallenges with scheduling\u201d and a \u201closs of interest\u201d from the popular Queer Eye<\/em> staple.<\/p>\n \u201cThe network and the cast thought it was time to bring in fresh blood,\u201d a source told the publication. \u201cHis heart was not in it and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that.\u201d<\/p>\n However, a second insider revealed that the decision was \u201camicable\u201d and Bobby was \u201cnot asked to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n Even though Bobby won\u2019t be joining the cast for the upcoming ninth season of the show, fellow Queer Eye<\/em> star Karamo Brown<\/strong><\/a> could hardly contain his excitement regarding Jeremiah.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s exciting, you know, like, Jeremiah is an extremely talented and extremely driven, extremely fun man,\u201d Karamo told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in an article published on June 9, 2024. \u201cWith Bobby deciding to leave, I think it\u2019s just exciting to have someone else come in who\u2019s excited and I mean, I\u2019m excited about the season [being] one of the best.\u201d<\/p>\n Karamo continued, \u201cI don\u2019t think that he brings something that wasn\u2019t there.
