Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s first Eras tour concert in Edinburgh, Scotland, was a ~fairytale~ for one Swiftie couple who got engaged during the show, and the pop star got to witness it.<\/p>\n The \u201cLover\u201d singer, 34, was performing \u201cCardigan\u201d at Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, June 7, when a marriage proposal<\/a> happened in the audience, as seen in a video shared on TikTok<\/a>. Taylor finished the song with a smile on her face as she looked into the crowd and said, \u201cI love performing this entire show in the sunlight, because I\u2019m pretty sure I just, like, saw somebody getting engaged over here.\u201d The audience erupted in cheers and appeared to confirm what she saw.<\/p>\n \u201cDid it happen?\u201d she asked the couple before throwing her fists in the air and shouting, \u201cYes!\u201d<\/p>\n The Grammy winner continued, \u201cYou have no idea, I never get to see that, right? Because it\u2019s, like, dark usually at night, but it\u2019s not right now.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only did Taylor offer her congratulations to the couple, but she also thanked them for sharing the moment with her.<\/p>\n \u201cWow, I just saw that whole thing! Uh, man, that\u2019s amazing. Thanks for doing that at my concert, that\u2019s a big moment \u2014 huge!\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n Elsewhere during the concert, Taylor stopped her acoustic performance<\/a> of \u201cWould\u2019ve Could\u2019ve Should\u2019ve\u201d to make sure that an audience member in front of her received help. She continued to play her guitar but replaced the lyrics of her song.<\/p>\n \u201cWe need help right in front of me please, right in front of me,\u201d she said, as seen in fan footage posted on TikTok. \u201cJust gonna keep playing until we notice where it is.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor then pointed her guitar in front of her and added, \u201cIt\u2019s right there. I\u2019m just gonna keep playing \u2018til somebody helps them. And I\u2019m gonna keep singing this song. I don\u2019t think anybody\u2019s gotten to them yet, but they\u2019re gonna. \u2018Cause we\u2019re not gonna keep singing, we\u2019re just gonna keep talking about the people that need help in front of me. Just let me know when \u2026 I can do this all night.\u201d<\/p>\n After she got confirmation that the audience member received assistance, she said, \u201cOK you\u2019re good? Awesome!\u201d and continued her performance.<\/p>\n Taylor played her second show at Murrayfield Stadium on June 8, and she\u2019s set to perform a third and final concert there on Sunday, June 9. The pop star will then head to Liverpool, England, for a set of three shows at Anfield Stadium beginning on June 13.
