My dad, in this hypermasculine way, was like, \u2018I\u2019m going to watch this. Men watch their sons do sex scenes.\u2019 It was like, \u2018Dad, you really don\u2019t have to. I get that you\u2019re proud.\u2019 I did four sex scenes in one day one time, with people who, that was their only scene. So I would welcome them on set like, \u2018OK, we\u2019re in position.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Leo, on the challenges of portraying Dexter in One Day<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe thing about Dex\u2014the immediate challenge that I knew I had to overcome\u2014was he had to be redeemable. On the page, it\u2019s very easy to think he\u2019s a bit of a twat, because he kind of is. He does act like a knob half the time. But some really bad things happen to him, and he\u2019s got a lot of love in his heart. He\u2019s on his knees a lot. For someone who\u2019s so privileged, he really gets a crap deal.\u201d<\/p>\n Nicholas, on working alongside Julianne Moore<\/strong><\/a> in Mary & George<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cShe actually goes by \u2018Juju\u2019 sometimes. I felt like that was a bit too familiar. But you do think, \u2018Julianne Moore<\/strong>, icon,\u2019 and then you meet her in person and she\u2019s so grounded\u2026 But immediately, we\u2019re scheming. A lot of combativeness. Earlier in [George\u2019s] life, he\u2019s just desperate for love and affection.
