The movie is based on a real-life rehabilitation program and features a cast that includes formerly incarcerated actors.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/lamag.com\/film\/sing-sing-film-colman-domingo\" onclick=\"getOutboundLink(&#039;https:\/\/lamag.com\/film\/sing-sing-film-colman-domingo&#039;); return false;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles Magazine<\/a><\/em> reported that <strong>Colman <\/strong>told the audience that he hasn\u2019t been able to watch the movie yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve examined this film, and I feel like that\u2019s why \u2014 [co-star <strong>Paul Raci<\/strong>] said he was going to watch the last 15 minutes and I said, \u2018I can\u2019t,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I realize I can\u2019t because there\u2019s something raw that\u2019s happening that I\u2019m still deeply connected to \u2014 and I don\u2019t know what it is, but it feels vulnerable and revealing and unsettling, in a gorgeous way.
