Dina Manzo celebrated on Instagram after her ex-husband, Thomas \u201cTommy\u201d Manzo, was convicted of hiring a mobster to assault her partner Dave Cantin.<\/p>\n
A federal grand jury found Tommy guilty of conspiracy, falsifying and concealing documents and committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity on Tuesday. Dina separated from Tommy in 2012 and divorced in 2016. <\/p>\n
In 2015, her former husband hired a man to assault her and Dave Cantin. Cantin was physically attacked by John Perna who used a slapjack (it’s like a baton) to assault him in the parking lot of a North Jersey strip mall.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors accused Tommy of hiring John, the son of former mob boss Ralph Perna, because he was \u201coutraged that his former wife became romantically involved with another man.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n
Shortly after the attack, Tommy reportedly paid John with a discounted wedding reception at his Paterson, N.J. catering hall, The Brownstone.<\/b><\/p>\n
Caroline “thick as thieves” Manzo wrote a character letter on behalf of Tommy Manzo in 2021 as did Dolores Catania.<\/b><\/p>\n
