The former couple, who dated from 2009 to 2013 and were once rumoured to be secretly married, are said to have hung out at Resorts World with the \u2018Toxic\u2019 singer\u2019s 47-year-old older brother Bryan Spears.<\/p>\n
Their meeting was reported by TMZ, which said Jason, 52, currently lives in Vegas, and the Spears siblings \u201creached out to him to say they were going to be in town and would love to catch up\u201d.<\/p>\n
An insider also told Page Six about the apparent meeting: \u201c(Jason and Bryan are) still cool with each other and have stayed in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n
But the source added the former talent agent and Britney, 42, had \u201cnot really spoken\u201d since they broke off their 2011 engagement.<\/p>\n
\nThe TMZ report said the exes alleged reunion was \u201cfriendly\u201d, but there is \u201cnothing romantic\u201d going on between them \u201cright now\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nJason briefly served as one of Britney\u2019s conservators alongside her 71-year-old father Jamie Spears.<\/p>\n
\nJamie controversially established the conservatorship in 2008 as his daughter publicly struggled with her mental health.<\/p>\n
\nHe was finally suspended from controlling her personal and financial affairs in 2021 after a marathon court fight by Britney to regain independence over decisions about her personal life and finances.<\/p>\n
\nA Los Angeles judge axed the legal arrangement after Britney called it \u201cabusive\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nJason spoke out last year about his role in the arrangement, admitting he thought Britney \u201cneeded\u201d it to provide structure in her life.<\/p>\n
\nHe told the \u2018Kevco, The Company Podcast\u2019: \u201cI\u2019m not saying just finances. I\u2019m saying for other reasons, for therapy and stuff like that, or stopping her from seeing certain individuals that were not great for her to be in her life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBritney said in her 2023 memoir \u2018The Woman In Me\u2019 her feelings towards Jason \u201cchanged\u201d after he became her co-conservator.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI couldn\u2019t see it then, but I see now that having him tied up with the organization controlling my life might have played a part in draining the romance out of our relationship.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere came a point when I realised that I didn\u2019t have any bad feelings toward him, but I also didn\u2019t love him anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThree-times married Britney has two sons \u2013 Sean Preston, 18, and 17 year old Jayden James \u2013 with her second husband, 46 year old Kevin Federline.<\/p>\n
\nShe was recently said to be dating her former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz, 37, who has been widely reported to have an extensive criminal record, though it is not clear whether they are still together.<\/p>\n
\nThe pair were said to have been involved in a bust up at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles in May, which led Britney to issue a public denial she had suffered a \u201cbreakdown\u201d at the celebrity spot.<\/p>\n
\nIt is unclear whether she and Paul are still together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
