Baby Reindeer<\/em>\u2019s alleged real-life Martha Scott, Fiona Harvey<\/strong>, made headlines when she talked publicly about the show on Piers Morgan: Uncensored<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But her May 9 interview failed to gain the attention of the hit Netflix series\u2019 stars.<\/p>\n

Nava Mau<\/strong>, who portrayed Teri, has revealed the cast decided against watching 58-year-old Harvey\u2019s interview with Piers Morgan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mau, 32, told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> that she and her fellow cast members including creator Richard Gadd<\/strong> and Jessica Gunning<\/strong>, who portrayed Martha Scott in the show, opted out of viewing it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided not to watch it, so we didn\u2019t,\u201d Mau told the outlet on Tuesday, June 4, while walking the red carpet at the 2024 Gotham TV Awards in New York City.<\/p>\n

Harvey\u2019s TV interview was aired just over one month after the show\u2019s April 11 release and revealed that Harvey believes the show is \u201ca work of fiction\u201d when it comes to depicting her behavior.<\/p>\n

Harvey also claimed during the interview that she has been the target of death threats and harassment since internet sleuths figured out she was the so-called \u2018Real Martha.\u2019<\/p>\n

Baby Reindeer<\/em> is an adaptation of 34-year-old Gadd\u2019s autobiographical one-man show of the same name. The limited series is based on Gadd\u2019s experience of being stalked and sexually assaulted.<\/p>\n

Mau\u2019s red carpet admission comes after Gunning<\/a>, 38, confirmed to Radio Times<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on May 21, that she, \u201chasn\u2019t engaged with the real-world fallout from Baby Reindeer<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Richard have this close connection and I\u2019m very concerned about anything that might upset him,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cHe\u2019s a survivor of sexual assault, and he was stalked, and I think that any search for real people almost undermines that slightly.\u201d<\/p>\n

For his part, Gadd, who wrote, executive produced and portrayed a fictionalized version of himself onscreen, has spoken out<\/a> about how he doesn\u2019t want<\/a> fans to track down the people who inspired the characters.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople I love, have worked with, and admire \u2026 are unfairly getting caught up in speculation,\u201d Gadd wrote via an Instagram Story on Monday, April 22, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>. \u201cPlease don\u2019t speculate on who any of the real life people could be. That\u2019s not the point of our show.\u201d<\/p>\n
