Travis Kelce\u2019s close friend says the NFL star and Taylor Swift will \u2018hopefully soon\u2019 be getting married<\/p>\n
The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, who has been dating the \u2018Bad Blood\u2019 singer, also 34, since last summer, was said by his pal Patrick Regan to be on the verge of walking down the aisle with the performer.<\/p>\n
He told the \u2018Your Day Off\u2019 podcast when asked if the couple were preparing to get hitched: \u201cHopefully soon, that\u2019ll be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
The celebrity hairdresser stressed the couple has yet to \u201cannounce\u201d anything. <\/p>\n
But he told about how he has got close to Taylor: \u201cIt\u2019s like kind of cool to see because I know her as a person now. She\u2019s just a really nice person like, it\u2019s just, she\u2019s very interested in what you\u2019re saying, she doesn\u2019t act like the most famous celebrity in the world, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPatrick added Taylor is a \u201cgood girlfriend\u201d to Travis and thinks it\u2019s \u201cpretty cool\u201d to see their blossoming relationship.<\/p>\n
\nHe also said about how Travis had to move homes to increase his security amid the spotlight he found himself under since dating Taylor: \u201cTravis is one of my bros. I used to just go sleep at his house every weekend so things kind of \u2026 changed a little bit but it\u2019s cool to see.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPatrick said Travis has \u201cmore security\u201d to protect him from being swarmed by fans and paparazzi at his new pad, adding: \u201cI\u2019m happy for him and seeing the stardom that he\u2019s getting, \u2019cause he\u2019s just a normal guy too. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou guys would love him. He\u2019s just a regular dude.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTravis and Taylor secretly started seeing each other in July 2023 and didn\u2019t confirm their romance until September when the singer turned up to support Travis at one of his Chiefs games.<\/p>\n
\nEven though there is no sign from the pair they are planning a wedding, a source told Page Six in January Travis is planning to propose to Taylor on their first anniversary this month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
