Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> takes things to the next level in her workouts by hitting the gym in high heels.<\/p>\n \u201cMy lifestyle is extremely clean. Sobriety is a big part of it,\u201d she told W<\/em><\/a> magazine in an interview published on Monday, June 3. \u201cMy mantra is, like any athlete, \u2018Practice how you perform.\u2019 So that\u2019s why I practice in my heels. The gym looks really tough<\/a>, but then I\u2019ve got my ivory Gucci slingbacks because they remind me of Marilyn Monroe.\u201d<\/p>\n She confirmed that she \u201cmostly\u201d trains<\/a> in heels because she\u2019s \u201cinterested in feminizing the workout space, because so much of the workout equipment is ugly.\u201d<\/p>\n Miley, 31, first got sober when she turned 26 years old. \u201cI said, \u2018I got to pull my s\u2013t together before I\u2019m 27, because 27 is the time you cross over that threshold into living or dying a legend,\u2019\u201d she said in 2020, referencing the number of stars who tragically died at age 27, including Amy Winehouse.<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI didn\u2019t want to not make it through being 27. I didn\u2019t want to join that club. Probably about halfway into 26, I got sober. Then by 27, I was pretty much fully sober. Then, like a lot of people during the pandemic [in 2020], I fell off. It was really a struggle. Mental health and anxiety and all that. I lost myself there.\u201d<\/p>\n By the end of 2020, the Grammy winner was back to dedicating herself to her sobriety. \u201cI think everyone has to do what is best for them,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cI don\u2019t have a problem with drinking. I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past that level of \u2026 even into, I\u2019ve just been wanting to wake up 100 percent, 100 percent of the time.\u201d<\/p>\n Miley also admitted to being \u201cvery disciplined,\u201d which helped in her sobriety journey. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty easy for me to be sober or in and out of sobriety because it\u2019s like the day I don\u2019t want to f\u2013king do it anymore, I don\u2019t. The day that I do, I do. You know? But when I don\u2019t want to, it just is. I\u2019m just very disciplined.\u201d<\/p>\n In the W<\/em> magazine interview, the \u201cFlowers\u201d singer also opened up about collaborating with Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> on \u201cII Most Wanted\u201d from the R&B star\u2019s album Cowboy Carter.<\/em> \u201cI wrote that song, like, two and a half years ago,\u201d Miley shared. \u201cMy mom would always go, \u2018I love that song so much.\u2019 So when Beyonc\u00e9 reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship. I told her, \u2018We don\u2019t have to get country; we are country. We\u2019ve been country.\u2019 I said, \u2018You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.\u2019 Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyonc\u00e9 was a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
