Lenny Kravitz<\/a>\u00a0has nothing but good things to say about his future son-in-law,\u00a0<\/span>Channing Tatum<\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n The proud papa gushed about daughter\u00a0<\/span>Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/a>‘s fianc\u00e9 during a recent appearance on the\u00a0<\/span>Zo\u00eb Ball and Friends<\/a><\/em>\u00a0podcast, where he opened up about how well Channing, 44, has fit in with the family <\/span>since he and Zo\u00eb, 35, got serious<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n ET\u00a0<\/span>confirmed last October<\/a>\u00a0that <\/span>Zo\u00eb and Channing had quietly gotten engaged<\/a> more than <\/span>two years after first sparking romance rumors<\/a>. The pair met while <\/span>working on Zo\u00eb’s directorial debut,\u00a0Blink Twice<\/em><\/a>, in 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “He’s a really great guy,” the 60-year-old singer said of Channing on <\/span>the latest episode of the podcast<\/a>. “He was raised well. So, you know, he’s got manners. He’s charming. He’s a soulful human being. And so, he’s become part of the family quite quickly.”<\/span><\/p>\n “He fits and they’re in love. We’re going to have a wedding next year,” the rocker added.<\/span><\/p>\n Lenny has been <\/span>vocal with his support\u00a0for Zo\u00eb and Channing’s relationship<\/a>, as well as his\u00a0excitement for the couple’s big day. When the\u00a0<\/span>Blue Electric Light<\/span><\/em>\u00a0artist spoke with ET on the carpet of the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival in January, <\/span>he\u00a0said that he was over the moon when it comes to his daughter’s engagement<\/a> to the\u00a0<\/span>21 Jump Street<\/span><\/i>\u00a0actor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Hey man, that’s life,” Lenny gushed. “When your family is happy, when your child is happy, that’s it — I’ve done well. Blessed.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lenny was married to\u00a0Zo\u00eb’s mother, actress\u00a0<\/span>Lisa Bonet<\/a>, from 1987 to 1993. The\u00a0<\/span>Big Little Lies<\/span><\/em>\u00a0actress <\/span>is the couple’s only child<\/a>, although Lisa went on to have two more children <\/span>during her marriage to\u00a0Aquaman\u00a0<\/em>actor\u00a0Jason Momoa<\/a>, which <\/span>ended in 2022<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lenny went on to say that it’s special moments and celebrations like the engagement of his only child that make him feel “blessed,” as he looked back ahead of his 60th birthday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “For me, I don’t think about numbers and time,” he said. “I feel better than I ever have felt. Mentally, spiritually, physically… and so I’m glad I’m still here, man, let me tell you.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In March, a <\/span>source told ET that Zo\u00eb and Channing\u00a0are flying high<\/a> and supporting one another as they enjoy their engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n “Channing and Zoe are doing fantastic and could not be more in love,” the source shared. “They\u2019re so thrilled about their engagement and to be taking this next step together.”<\/span><\/p>\n Although the pair has remained largely private about their romance,\u00a0<\/span>they have spoken about each other in interviews<\/a>, with Channing even being\u00a0outed for\u00a0<\/span>adorably following numerous Instagram fan accounts<\/a>\u00a0for Zo\u00eb.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I have no chill,” he told\u00a0<\/span>Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in January of following the accounts.\u00a0“I was just seeing what she was up to! Also, I didn\u2019t know anyone would know.”<\/span><\/p>\n Channing confessed that he is trying to be\u00a0<\/span>more chill<\/span><\/em>\u00a0these days so he “can actually experience these moments, instead of just trying to change it or something, or being afraid that it\u2019s not going to work out how I wanted or something.”<\/span><\/p>\n He admitted, “Relationships are hard for me.\u00a0Even though I am a bit of a monogamist. In business, I have no real fear of anything being destroyed. But heart things, when it comes to people I love, I have a really hard time. I end up trying too hard, you know?”<\/span><\/p>\n Zo\u00eb’s romance with Channing is her first since her public split from ex-husband\u00a0Karl Glusman.
