Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Abbott Elementary<\/a> <\/i>cameo wasn\u2019t just memorable to Us but also to star Lisa Ann Walter<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJason, I will say, out of everybody, was so vocal about being honored to participate in our show because he wanted to be a part of something that helped shine a light on what the public school system was like in Philadelphia,\u201d Walter, 60, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>at Gurus <\/i>magazine\u2019s #30Voices30Days launch party on Saturday, June 1. \u201cIt was so meaningful to him and he was thrilled to be there. And it\u2019s for the kids, so of course [he was] gonna be there. He was lovely.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce, 36, and his former Philadelphia Eagles teammates Jalen Hurts<\/strong> and Brandon Graham<\/strong> made brief appearances on the Abbott Elementary <\/i>season 3 premiere, which aired in February. The trio of NFL stars \u2014 Kelce ultimately retired in March \u2014 were enlisted to help Gary (Bruno Amato)<\/strong> propose to Walter\u2019s Melissa via a Zoom call in the middle of the school day.<\/p>\n

\u201cJalen Hurts was there for the entire time and then the others joined in,\u201d Walter recalled at the Saturday festivities, which was held at the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood, noting that Kelce particularly impressed her. \u201cHe\u2019s also a handsome hunk of a man, I don\u2019t mind saying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAbbott Elementary has been having fun surprising its audience with many star-studded cameos. The ABC sitcom, which debuted in 2021, quickly became a critically acclaimed series for its focus on teachers in a Philadelphia public school. Multiple celebrities have since made appearances as Abbott Elementary continued to please fans and critics alike. Series star and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Melissa is a big Eagles supporter, just like Walter herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m an NFL fan in real life. I\u2019m truly a fan and I\u2019ve actually become a big fan of the Eagles<\/a> over the last years,\u201d she gushed to Us, <\/i>calling Kelce \u201cthe real deal\u201d and adding, \u201cIt even predates the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of the Abbott <\/i>scene, Melissa rejected Gary\u2019s proposal, and they broke up even though she appreciated his grand gesture of bringing in the Eagles to assist.<\/p>\n

Jason isn\u2019t the only Kelce with acting chops. His younger brother, Travis Kelce<\/strong>, made his Saturday Night Live <\/i>debut in 2023 and is set to star in Ryan Murphy<\/strong>\u2019s upcoming FX series <\/a>Grotesquerie<\/a>. <\/i>Walter also wouldn\u2019t mind Travis, 34, stopping by Abbott<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny of the Kelces are welcome,\u201d Walter said on Saturday. \u201cThe mother [too], all the Kelces, every Kelce!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the final moments, Janine (creator Quinta Brunson<\/strong>) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams<\/strong>) finally got together<\/a> after a slow-burn romance. Despite leaving Janine\u2019s party early, Gregory ran back and fixed her broken porch light before they shared a steamy kiss.<\/p>\n
