Two years after producer Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> declined to create a second season of the Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> prequel 1883<\/em> starring real-life country couple Tim McGraw<\/strong> and Faith Hill<\/strong><\/a>, Tim has done an end run and is returning to TV with his own new series.<\/p>\n Sources exclusively tell Life & Style<\/em> the singer will executive produce and star in a still-untitled Netflix<\/a> series where he\u2019ll play a tough-as-nails, no-bull bull rider.<\/p>\n Insiders say the Not a Moment Too Soon<\/em> artist is hoping the new show will give a little giddyup to his acting career to keep it on par with his runaway music success.<\/p>\n \u201cTim and Faith were crushed they didn\u2019t get to do another season of 1883<\/em> \u2014 they loved playing husband-and-wife Old West pioneers James and Margaret Dutton,\u201d says a source.<\/p>\n \u201cBut Tim kinda took the bull by the horns and is putting out the new series with his own production company!\u201d<\/p>\n The source adds while Faith will likely do a guest spot, she will not be a series regular.<\/p>\n \u201cFaith wants to do more acting, but they both don\u2019t want their careers solely tied to a husband-and-wife act<\/a>,\u201d says the source.<\/p>\n Now Tim is taking on a challenging role as a veteran rodeo star confronted by a rising riding upstart.<\/p>\n \u201cTim is 57, when most professional bull riders are looking to retire by 30,\u201d says a pal. \u201cTim exercises like a fiend and is in tip-top shape, but he may be thinking about playing a \u2018retired bull rider\u2019 soon!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
